Wellbeing

Children are in an optimal position for learning when they feel safe, heard and valued. In this environment students are able to relax and engage in a fun, innovative program designed to maximise their learning potential.

Kilsyth Primary School is a TRIBES learning community which encourages regular multiage activities and collaboration to enhance interpersonal skills and healthy emotional development. Together with the use of restorative practice to resolve conflict, we are a school which has zero tolerance for bullying and seeks to ensure all children feel secure in their learning environment.

We have a strong focus on student wellbeing supported by a team which includes a chaplain, psychologist, speech pathologist, counsellors and a dedicated wellbeing coordinator. Whether children need someone to talk to about friendship or are facing more complex issues, all students have access to assistance and we encourage communication between parents and staff to support your child in the most beneficial way.
